Our Story

Susukino

Susukino

Susukino (すすきの) is a district in Chūō-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. Known for its nightlife, restaurants, and of course, ramen bars. After many ramen chefs perfect their recipes and skills in the rural areas of Japan, they move to a big city and open up in Susukino to be a part of the “best of the best”.
From Sapporo to Humboldt

From Sapporo to Humboldt

Our head chef, Gori, made the journey from Sapporo to Arcata to bring authentic Japanese flavors to the North Coast. His mission? To share real ramen culture—unfiltered, flavorful, and fiercely comforting.

Founded by Humboldt locals with a love for ramen and hospitality, Susukino is a gathering place for friends, foodies, and night owls alike. We believe in good food, great people, and late nights done right.
